Seussical The Musical

This fun filled, family-friendly show is put on by the Aberdeen Central Drama Club and will include live music from the school’s orchestra. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students, and activity passes are accepted.
Open Streets Spring Art & Wine Walk

Open Streets is an invitation to slow down, connect with neighbors and enjoy the vibrant heart of Sioux Falls. The spring art and wine walk extends across the entire district with delicious wines and talented regional artists in pop-up galleries. Bring your curiosity and your walking shoes.
Sioux Falls Stampede vs. Fargo Force

Join the Herd for the first two games of the Western Conference finals in Sioux Falls. The Stampede is gunning for their fourth Clark Cup and solidification as the team to beat in their USHL division, while the Force seeks to capitalize on their recent successes in their bid for a third trophy.
Eminent Domain
May 1–17 • Variable showtimesThe Performing Arts Center of Rapid City
The Black Hills Community Theatre concludes its 2025–26 mainstage season with the Midwestern family drama Eminent Domain. Written by Nebraska playwright Laura Leininger-Campbell, the story starts when Rob Macleod’s family farm is threatened by construction of a pipeline underneath it, lighting a fuse that threatens to divide the family he loves.
Naja Shrine Circus
May 1–3 • Variable showtimesThe Monument, Rapid City
The legendary three-ring spectacle is coming to Rapid City. Enjoy acrobats, wild animals and clowns while benefitting the Naja Shriner’s operations. Cameras are allowed, but strollers and large bags are prohibited. Rides will be available prior to each performance and during intermission for a fee.
PFL Sioux Falls: Storley vs. Zendeli
Saturday, May 2 • 8 p.m. CSTSanford Pentagon, Sioux Falls
The Professional Fighters League return to South Dakota this May, this time with welterweight standout Logan Storley (18-4) facing off against Florim Zendeli (11-1-1). Storley, a former Bellator interim champ, sits ranked #4 in the PFL’s 170 lb. division, while Zendeli holds the #7 position. “Storm” Storley is a South Dakota native who last competed in Sioux Falls in June 2024. The 33-year-old saw a three-fight win streak snapped when he fell to Thad Jean in the PFL Welterweight World Tournament final last August.
Free Community Art Day

Music Storytime

Jam with the National Music Museum at Music Storytime. Led by Museum Educator Anna Van Kley, this free program is designed for ages 3 to 6, inviting children to explore rhythm, melody and imagination.
Sioux Falls Children’s Choir Spring Concert

Join the Sioux Falls Children’s Choir for their Spring Concert featuring all three Choirs: Coro Crescendo (kindergarten–1st grade), Coro Dulce (2nd–3rd grade), Coro Allegro “Joyful Choir” (4th–6th grade). Children ages 2 and under will be admitted for free.
Sioux Falls Mayoral Debate
Tuesday, May 5 • 6 p.m.Military Heritage Alliance, Sioux Falls
The Dakota Scout and SiouxFallsLive.com are again joining forces to host a candidate debate — this time in the race for Sioux Falls mayor. All five candidates vying to lead City Hall — Joe Batcheller, Christine Erickson, Greg Jamison, Jamie Smith and David Zokaites — have confirmed they will take part in a public safety-focused forum ahead of the June 2 municipal election.
The hour-long debate will be streamed live on TheDakotaScout.com and SiouxFallsLive.com. It will also be held in front of a live audience, with attendance limited exclusively to members of the law enforcement community and their families.
