Guest column by Commissioner Bill Even, Governor's Office of Economic Development
America’s security depends on more than military strength. It depends on whether we produce what we need, when we need it, on our own soil. That includes food. Food security is national security, and South Dakota is ready to lead.

It is a cohesive system that includes cybersecurity, defense manufacturing, resilient infrastructure, domestic supply chains and strong, stable food production.
