South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem’s viral endorsement of a cosmetic orthodontics clinic will not be investigated by the state Legislature’s oversight panel.

A nearly five-minute video posted Tuesday on social media accounts associated with Noem’s political campaign committee promoting Smile Texas has caught national attention, generated a lawsuit, and calls for an investigation by state lawmakers here at home.
