Marshall Selberg launches campaign vowing to keep city strong
Former two-term City Councilor Marshall Selberg announced his bid for the Sioux Falls mayor’s office, becoming the fifth candidate in the race.
Selberg kicked off his campaign after meeting with hundreds of people, he said. Finally, after his mother told him to get on with it, Selberg decided to run.
He told dozens of supporters who turned out for the announcement that he had been born with two genes: A political gene and an entrepreneurial gene. Besides serving on the council, Sellberg has been in real estate, and he served on the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce.
