VIEWPOINT | Brockhouse signature drive litmus for Sioux Falls
Guest column by Mike Zitterich, Concerned Citizens for Sioux Falls
I have filed a petition attempting to give to the voters the opportunity to make their voices heard. I want the city council and the mayor to know this is not personal, it is just something I am very passionate about, and I believe there is a need in this community for a local taxidermy collection. I know we have had our differences, however, through it all, I have always tried my best to respect every member of our governing board. I have always trusted that they put their best effort into making my city the best it can be, and I know each of them cares about the future success of our city.
After talking to several residents over the past year, I feel allowing voters deserve the chance to say yes or no, and the effort gives to the governing board a better way forward as we create a vision for this city. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am someone who has a passion for the people of this community, our history and our political culture.
