South Dakota Rep. Dusty Johnson fielded tough questions in a telephone town hall Wednesday, as frustrations grow over limited GOP outreach amid Trump-led federal spending reforms.
The event comes as Johnson and other GOP members in Washington have faced criticism for not doing more to engage with constituents while aggressively backing spending reforms pursued by Trump and the newly created Department of Government Efficiency.
