South Dakota’s highest-ranked state representative sustained a leg injury Friday while cliff jumping in Hawaii.

While in Honolulu for a four-day legislative convention with a group of other South Dakota lawmakers, House Speaker Spencer Gosch suffered a broken ankle while recreating at a beach on the north side of the island of Oahu.
