

A parking fine adjustment is under consideration by the Sioux Falls City Council.
The city of Sioux Falls will soon extend the hours that drivers pay for on-street parking downtown.
The cost to park there is also going up as part of a broad package of changes unveiled Tuesday by City Hall's parking division that includes increasing the cost of leasing ramp spaces.
But while briefing City Council members on the coming changes, parking manager Matt Nelson also noted that some adjustments to city parking rules and policy will ease financial demands on visitors, residents and employees working in the city's central commercial district.
