South Dakota’s first female bank robbers had been found guilty of holding up the First State Bank of Renner a century ago.

And according to the Jan. 29, 1926, edition of the Sioux Falls Argus Leader, the mother-daughter duo faced up to 20 years in the state penitentiary for their crimes.
