The Writer’s strike for higher pay and better working conditions continues without an end in sight. The writers are daily walking picket lines around the major studios as well as shutting down productions across the country. The Los Angeles Times reported that the Showtime series The Chi tried to begin production in Chicago but was stopped when writers showed up at 4 a.m. to picket. Once pickets show up, Teamsters and IATSE crew refuse to cross the lines forcing shutdowns. Disney+ Daredevil: Born Again, Apple TV+ Loot and Good Trouble in New York City have also been similarly stopped.
