

The South Dakota National Guard has assisted with more than 1,000 deportations of people in the country illegally, Gov. Larry Rhoden announced Monday as he extended the Guard’s mission in assisting immigration enforcement.
Rhoden extended the deployments of seven SDNG members who have been assisting Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The seven include three guardsmen in Sioux Falls, three in Rapid City and one in an administrative role.
