A northeastern South Dakota beef processing plant is again being sued for claims of employment discrimination.

An Aberdeen woman has filed a lawsuit in federal court against her former employer, DemKota Ranch Beef, alleging the company refused to rehire her because she was pregnant.

Danielle Kotschwar filed the lawsuit on Nov. 1 and wants a jury trial. She’s seeking $75,000 in compensatory damages.
