Minnehaha County residents renewed their call Tuesday to remove Flock cameras in use by the Sheriff’s Office, citing concerns about privacy and surveillance.
“We want these Flock cameras gone,” Anthony Mirzayants.
Mirzayants and others addressed the commission near the end of its regular meeting Tuesday, Sept. 1. At the start of the meeting, Commissioner Cole Heisey attempted to amend the agenda to hold a hearing on their use at either the commission’s next meeting on Sept. 8 or Sept. 22.
