More Native American leaders are endorsing Gov. Kristi Noem’s nomination to be the next secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Chairwoman Janet Alkire gave a full-throated endorsement for Noem’s appointment to the top spot in President-elect Donald Trump’s DHS department in a letter to the leader of the U.S. Senate committee that Noem will testify before Friday morning.
