State-issued identification cards and driver’s licenses are getting a new look.
The South Dakota Driver Licensing Program is introducing a new driver’s license and identification card design this month.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the new cards feature advanced security technology to help prevent fraud and identity theft, including updated printing methods and embedded design elements that make the credentials more secure and harder to replicate.
