Nationwide hunt for Sioux Falls' next school superintendent starting at home
District familiar with recruiter leading search, community survey
A nationwide hiring search for the next superintendent of South Dakota’s largest school district is being led by the same firm that assisted with its last two hires for the position.
The Sioux Falls School Board has tapped Hazard, Young, Attea, and Associates (HYA) to spearhead the hunt for a successor to District Superintendent Jane Stavem, who announced last month her plans to vacate the position following the 2024-25 school year.
