The days of free street parking in downtown Sioux Falls on evenings and weekends could be numbered.

PIERRE — A former state employee who oversaw vehicle titling in the Motor Vehicles Division for South Dakota has been accused of creating fake titles and then using those to obtain fraudulent loans from banks.

A now deceased state employee in the Motor Vehicles Division created fake motor vehicle titles that were used to secure bank loans, Attorney General Marty Jackley confirmed Thursday.
