Rep. Brad Finstad touts nonpartisanship, criticizes White House for market decline
The man who holds the congressional seat once occupied by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz isn’t convinced the vice presidential candidate would restore agriculture’s influence on Capitol Hill if promoted to the Oval Office.
But partisanship among U.S. policymakers won’t either, U.S. Rep. Brad Finstad said during a stop in Sioux Falls this week.
“I’m as conservative as anybody, but it’s high time that we all try to … take the Rs and Ds off our sweatshirts and put the U.S.A. back on, and figure out what that means for good policy and good outcomes,” the New Ulm Republican said.
