Lincoln County rejected 30 Beresford-area voters’ ballots on Thursday from the Nov. 3 election because poll workers failed to stamp them.
Lincoln County Auditor Sheri Lund reported the error during Friday’s canvass. Precinct 26 covers Brooklyn Township, Pleasant Township and the Lincoln County portion of Beresford.
The county excluded 35 unstamped ballots in all. Lund did not identify the locations of the other five.
