If you are a true conservative and a believer in the American Republic, you cannot be a supporter of Amendment L, which promotes a pure “Democracy.”
Whether we have 60% or a 50%+1 popularity vote on amendments, it would not defeat the problem we see today – corporate lobbying by a small minority to change our Constitution. When you finally understand who we are as “free people,” then you will understand why our founding fathers gave you the power to do just that, changing the Constitution by means of a simple popularity vote. “For they gave you a republic, so long as you can keep it.”
