The federal government shutdown is preventing U.S. Border Czar Tom Homan from coming to Sioux Falls Wednesday.
Homan was scheduled to be the keynote speaker for the Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner and Children’s Charity Fundraiser on Oct. 29. The development left organizers scrambling Tuesday.
Event organizer Scott Abdallah said he was working to get Homan to speak by video. He was hoping to know by the end of the day.
