A $170,000-plus investment in Sioux Falls is set to show up in some very different places — from the kitchen tables of homebound seniors to the garages of foster families and the studios of Sioux Falls artists.
The Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation on Monday announced the latest round of Community Fund grants that will support health and crisis care to technology, literature and the arts.
The $170,000 in grant awards will be divvied up among seven Sioux Falls-area groups.
“We have a great variety of grants this round, and that’s a testament to all the work being done in Sioux Falls,” said Patrick Gale, vice president of community investment. “We’re happy to support these causes and to continue our mission of improving the quality of life for people in Sioux Falls.”
