Deceit disposed: South Dakota closes book on public corruption case flurry
Attorney General vows continued probes as state enacts reforms to prevent future abuses
A half dozen criminal cases brought against former state employees caught abusing their positions in government amid a flurry of public corruption scandals in South Dakota have now been resolved.
But the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office is warning that his office continues to probe tips about wrongdoing by public stewards.
