Law enforcement appreciation dinner will continue to feature immigration chief

The organizer of an annual law enforcement dinner said Tuesday afternoon that U.S. Border Czar Tom Homan will address the dinner.
“We have never had a bigger demand from law enforcement to attend the event than this year,” Sioux Falls lawyer Scott Abdallah said. “Obviously, this government shutdown could not have come at a worse time for our event. But, Mr. Homan is still looking forward to addressing our law enforcement officers tomorrow and appearing live by video.”
