Grants pour into South Dakota communities for business growth, transit upgrades, campus initiatives
If money talks, it’s hollering this December across eastern South Dakota.
From business parks and bus stops to a faith-fueled storytelling initiative, state and federal dollars are pouring into communities looking to grow, build and modernize.
In the span of a week, the governor’s office, federal transit officials and a national philanthropic foundation have collectively steered more than $8 million to projects in Aberdeen, Watertown, Sioux Falls and at Augustana University.
