Worker hurt in explosion accuses propane wholesaler of negligence
Share

A man who was forced to jump from a roof following an explosion has filed suit against the company he blames for causing the accident.

Ross Holford-Moen was a framer for a construction company when the accident occurred. He was working on the roof of a home in Brandon in March when workers from CHS Inc. delivered a propane tank to the work site.

CHS, based in Minnesota, is a global agribusiness owned by farmers and local cooperatives. The company is one of the largest propane wholesalers in the United States.

On March 21, CHS employees were handling the propane tank when it slipped and rolled.
