Woman says bank replaced her with younger male who got 'enormous' office
Lawsuit claims age, sex discrimination
A Rapid City bank admits that it demoted a 67-year-old woman from her management position and replaced her with a younger male.
But that decision, according to Security First Bank, was not because it was discriminating against the woman, Judy Deyo. Rather, the bank’s “actions were for legitimate, nondiscriminatory reasons and no pretext or discriminatory motive existed.”
That’s according to Security First Bank’s answer to Deyo’s age and sexual discrimination lawsuit.
