Dusty Johnson is set to make an announcement Monday morning in Sioux Falls that could end speculation about his potential run for governor.

Johnson, South Dakota’s United States Representative, is hosting an event at 11:45 a.m. at Canopy by Hilton Downtown Sioux Falls. The event is free, and tickets are available via Eventbrite.

The ticketing site provides no reason for the announcement, but Johnson has been rumored to be a potential candidate for South Dakota governor in 2026.
