Attorney General's Office indicts nearly a dozen people in connection to inmate overdose death
A Bon Homme County Grand Jury has indicted 11 people in connection with an illegal drug operation that resulted in the death of an inmate, Attorney General Marty Jackley announced Monday.
One of the 11, Tricia Bradley, was a contract food service employee working for the state. Two others were private citizens while the others were or are incarcerated.
The indictments were in connection to the overdose death of Timothy Tyree Nov. 17 at the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield. An autopsy revealed that Tyree, 46, ingested K2, a synthetic cannabinoid. The investigation revealed that other inmates had also ingested K2.
