
The Trump Administration announced Friday that South Dakota will receive $7.2 million to improve ambulance-based telemedicine and emergency medicine communications technology.
Twenty-five projects led by medical professionals and educators are to receive the funding. These projects are hoped to expand ambulance-based telemedicine services, fund emergency medical services training, provide more efficient communication between EMS staff and hospitals and modernize medical technology across the state, among other goals.
