For the Irish and Irish-at-heart, you can enjoy your afternoon downtown for the 46th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Phillips Avenue. Traditional painting of the shamrock is at 11 a.m. in front of First National Bank the day of the parade.

Dinner in the Dark Part 3: Immersive Dinner Series

Dinner in the Dark Part 3: Immersive Dinner Series brings a guided dining experience to The Box Elder Events Center in Box Elder, South Dakota. TOBYMAC with Crowder & Jeremy Camp: Hits Deep Tour

Head Over Heels Musical

Head to the Icon Event Hall in Downtown Sioux Falls for “Head Over Heels.” The evening will begin with a full-service dinner in Dada Gastropub before being ushered across the hall into a transformed venue for a laugh-out-loud jukebox musical. Specialty drinks will be available for purchase, including a themed cocktail supporting The Premiere Playhouse’s non-profit mission.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Thursday, March 12 - Saturday, March 14Deadwood, SD

This multi-day St. Patrick’s celebration is anything but quiet. It begins on Thursday, March 12 at 8 p.m. with a “St. Panties Day” cancer-fighting fundraiser at Saloon 10. The following day, a Lucky Leprechaun Hunt will take participants on a scavenger hunt of Deadwood businesses that concludes in a prize drawing for those who visit all 25 locations. Saturday events kickoff with an Eggs & Kegs event at the Deadwood Social Club at 9 a.m., the St. Patrick’s Day Parade at noon, and then an afternoon performance from Bill Walsh’s Singing Nuns followed by the annual Pub Crawl.

Shamrock & Roll

Friday, March 13 • 9 p.m.Den Cocktails & Casino, Sioux Falls

More rock and cocktails await at Shamrock & Roll, including “The Sleights” from Colorado, and local bands “Devils on Deck,” “Lovely Ave,” and “Spirit & Sirens.” This free show is open to anyone 21 years of age and older.

Tetsuya

Saturday, March 14 • 6:30 p.m. & 9 p.m.Trio Jazz Club, Sioux Falls

Active in the mid-Nebraska and northern Kansas areas is guitarist Tetsuya Nishiyama. Growing up in Japan, Tetsuya lived and studied in Chicago before moving to Lincoln, Nebraska, to pursue his Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Tetsuya has been recently featured on organist Mitch Towne’s new album Refuge.

South Dakota Space Design Competition

Saturday, March 14 • 8 a.m.SDSU College of Engineering, Brookings

Work with high school students from across the Midwest to develop a request for proposal for a settlement in space. During this multi-hour event, participants can network with industry professionals and engineering graduate students and learn how companies work in today’s industries. The cost is $175 and includes accommodations and meals.

SLAMABAMA
