Toy collectors in the Sioux Empire are invited to attend the 45th Annual Toy Show, featuring over 400 tables filled with antique collectables, model cars, dolls, literature and games. General admission is $8, and children 12 and under are free.

Shostakovich Symphony No. 8

Joseph Horowitz, who set the stage for the SDSO’s triumphant performance of Shostakovich’s Seventh Symphony in February of 2023, returns to Sioux Falls to guide you through the follow up of Shostakovich’s epic war symphonies. Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 8 (1943) is the second of two Shostakovich symphonies bearing witness to the agonizing Russian experience of World War II.
