Rosebud’s 150th-anniversary celebration continues through Sunday with tipi-raising contests, rodeo, contest wacipi Grand Entries, Indian horse relay races, softball and a carnival. Friday’s public highlights include tipi raising at 10 a.m., open rodeo at 5 p.m. and the contest wacipi Grand Entry at 7 p.m.; schedules are subject to change.

Historic Prairie Village, Madison | Adults $15 Friday and Sunday, $20 Saturday; ages 6–12 $5; ages 5 and younger free
The four-day jamboree continues through Sunday with parades, steam and horse threshing, machinery demonstrations, a large flea market, tractor pulls, train and carousel rides, historic programs and live music. This year’s event also hosts the Ford/Fordson Collectors Association National Annual Show.

The Outpost Lodge and Lake Oahe, Pierre | $100 per diver
Freedivers and scuba divers compete in men’s, women’s, junior, mixed, masters and novice divisions during two days of tournament fishing on Lake Oahe. Both days begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start, followed by a 4 p.m. check-in; Saturday’s awards banquet starts at 6 p.m.

The festival fills downtown through Sunday with vendors, carnival rides, bingo and free music. Friday’s schedule includes Logan Culhane and a ticketed Andy Grammer concert; Saturday brings kids’ activities, Phil Baker, the Layton Lee Band and a ticketed Cole Swindell show.

Historic Adams House lawn, Deadwood | $5; free for members
Lakota musician and educator JJ Kent leads a lunchtime program on Native American history, culture and traditions. Bring lunch and a lawn chair; the program moves to the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center if it rains.

Centennial Park, Hot Springs Municipal Airport and other Hot Springs locations
The weekend opens with vendors and live music at Centennial Park. Weather permitting, hot-air balloons launch at sunrise Saturday and Sunday, with Saturday’s schedule also featuring a 5K, farmers market, family activities and an 8 p.m. balloon glow.

The Minneapolis-based Celtic rock band returns to the Levitt lawn with a blend of traditional Irish music and energetic modern rock.

Lucid Lazer leads an all-female DJ lineup with Tokki, Lucky Two, Kenny and Flowerrr for a night of EDM and bass. The event is open to all genders.

This daylong Indigenous arts festival features music, dance, fashion, visual art, food vendors and family activities. The schedule includes Jackie Bird, Toka Nuwan singers and dancers, student artists, Kobe Jordan, Mato Wayuhi and Tia Wood.

This inclusive rodeo is open to individuals with disabilities and features adapted rodeo activities, animals, games and community resources. The packed-dirt venue is accessible, and a sensory-friendly calm area will be available.

Deadwood marks 150 years since Preacher Smith’s death with an all-ages faith and family night. Aberdeen worship group 6:33 opens the program, followed by Big Daddy Weave at 8 p.m.

Black Hills singer-songwriter Hank Harris, whose career includes work with the Red Willow Band and DD and the Fayrohs, joins the Hegg Brothers for two intimate Saturday-night performances.

The longtime downtown coffeehouse celebrates three decades with games, prizes, kids’ activities and a wide-ranging local music lineup. Walking tacos will be served from 4–6 p.m. before the evening show.
