America’s tariff debate has devolved into yet another partisan shouting match. Republicans and Democrats talk past each other, and the real issue – the Constitution and the harm tariffs inflict on ordinary Americans – gets lost just as the First Amendment has gotten lost among the MAGAs and why South Dakota’s chief law enforcement official was sent the enclosed letter via email and by U.S. Postal Service mail.
