VIEWPOINT: Sioux Falls residents deserve leaders who serve all

On June 23, we are having a municipal runoff election to choose a mayor and City Council members. Our community deserves people who will diligently represent the common good for every citizen in Sioux Falls. Please mark your calendars and get out to vote.
The Sioux Falls city fathers specifically created our system of governing to be unencumbered by party affiliation, creed, race or economic status. This was a safe wall to ensure that all people are treated equally and that the elected officials (our servants) work for the common good. Campaigns are for showcasing Ideas, leadership and serving people.
