A state-owned bank modeled after a century-old North Dakota institution would lower borrowing costs and ensure taxpayer dollars work for working South Dakotans.
Here in South Dakota, working families are feeling the grip of an economy that is actively working against us. The state of the economy has a grip on every aspect of daily life: the costs of groceries, healthcare, housing, and childcare continue to inflate faster than our paychecks.
