Vicki Lee (Risseeuw) Sueverkruebbe was born December, 28th, 1955 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Norma and Leonard “Bud” Risseeuw. She moved to Iowa in the early 1970’s and lived in Larchwood, Iowa. She later married and moved to Sioux Falls, SD where she had two daughters, Nicole and Alison. She was working up until she passed unexpectedly November 14, 2025 at the age of 69.
Vicki’s greatest joy in life came from her family. She was extremely proud of her children and cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Vicki was known for her gentle heart and her ability to make others smile—often without even trying. She had a quiet strength, a warm presence, and a naturally funny spirit that brought comfort and light to family, friends, and anyone lucky enough to cross her path.
She cherished her family above all else. Vicki adored her daughters and loved her entire family fiercely and wholeheartedly. She shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Farmr, who was always at her side. Some of her happiest days were spent fishing with Bud, spending time on the farm, enjoying long bike rides, or simply being surrounded by the people she loved most.
She leaves behind a family who will forever feel her absence, yet carry her spirit with them in every story, every smile, and every moment spent doing the things she loved. She is survived by her children, Nicole (Chad) Stegner of Sioux Falls, SD; Alison Brunz (Chris Boyle) of Gilbert, AZ; five grandchildren: Ethan and Jymira of Sioux Falls, SD, Adian, Kelen and Amelia of Gilbert, AZ; two great grandchildren Leonard and Violet of Sioux Falls, SD; sister Laurel Rokowski of Pinetop, AZ; nephew Lucas Risseeuw, his daughter Lauryn of Inwood, IA; niece Courtney Rokowski of Amsterdam.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Risseeuw.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, from 4pm – 6pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls, SD. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 24th, 11am at Heritage Funeral Home where family and friends are invited to honor her life.
