Veterans campaign to create regional center in Aberdeen’s historic depot
The Building Common Ground Campaign seeks to raise $3M for those who served
The Aberdeen Area Veterans group has embarked on a $3 million capital campaign aimed at purchasing and renovating the Milwaukee Depot on South Main Street.
A local nonprofit, it represents multiple veterans’ organizations. Hopes are the depot space not currently rented can be renovated into offices, meeting rooms and other features to serve as a local veteran center.
