The Trump administration is defending Biden-era nursing home staffing mandates in court, an unusual political twist that has drawn national attention and would impact staffing and costs in South Dakota nursing homes.
The case is the State of Kansas, et al. v. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., et al.
South Dakota entities are among the parties that do not want more stringent requirements.
