As Burger Battle winds down, Minerva's sells culinary work of art
The 12th Annual Burger Battle is on, but winding down at the end of this week.
Last year, 37 restaurants participated in the annual event with 76,000 burgers sold and a $2.4 million economic impact for the city. This year involvement has grown; 40 eateries are competing.
“The Burger Battle is a huge community builder,” said Tim Meagher, CEO of Minerva’s. “This month-long event has come to mean a time when people get together and dine out. And this year there are more restaurants than days of the month!”
