The 12th Annual Burger Battle is on, but winding down at the end of this week.
Last year, 37 restaurants participated in the annual event with 76,000 burgers sold and a $2.4 million economic impact for the city. This year involvement has grown; 40 eateries are competing.
“The Burger Battle is a huge community builder,” said Tim Meagher, CEO of Minerva’s. “This month-long event has come to mean a time when people get together and dine out. And this year there are more restaurants than days of the month!”
