Amber Hulse, Kristi Noem, Sara Frankenstein in Wall Street Journal story
Three South Dakotans are among several women featured in a story about beauty pageant winners playing a prominent role in Donald Trump’s MAGA world.
The story by the Wall Street Journal starts with state Sen. Amber Hulse cheering the victory of Denmark’s Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, a Danish model who was crowned Miss Universe last year shortly after Trump won a second term. Hulse is Miss South Dakota winner.
“Trump is president and Miss Universe is blonde. We are so back,” Hulse posted to her Instagram account.
