Former U.S. House Speaker John Boehner joined Rep. Dusty Johnson for a fundraiser at the Brix Wine Bar in Sioux Falls on Aug. 4. Boehner, a former congressman from Ohio who served two decades, became speaker of the House after Republicans won a mid-term wave in 2010. He found himself in the position of having to govern the country while being caught between the Obama administration and Tea Party Republicans.
