There are a few things you need to know about Cumberlain Rattlesnake.

For one, that’s a pen name, but he’ll have you know that’s not completely fake. It’s trademarked.

Mr. Rattlesnake has lived in Sioux Falls for three years after he said he decided to “get the hell out of crazy land” that is California. His age? He “stopped counting” at 55, and that was “about five years ago.”

And he is earning accolades in the United Kingdom as a script writer.

His script, “Gat Finger!” was named to the short list of the Page Turner Awards. The script tells the story of a young man who was “grievously mutilated” and rebuilt “into a Gatling-handed gunslinger who sets out to deliver retribution unto a sadistic boss and his ruthless gang, who shot his eye out and murdered his family.”
