Professional football player and South Dakota native Grey Zabel built his career clearing holes and protecting quarterbacks on football fields.

But a different type of field will be the focus of a return trip home next month for the T.F. Riggs High School graduate who’s now donning an NFL uniform as an offensive lineman with the Seattle Seahawks.

Coming off a Super Bowl championship, Zabel has been announced as the keynote speaker for the 2026 South Dakota Governor’s Agricultural Summit, a two-day event set to take place June 25-26 in his hometown of Pierre.
