House panel kills proposal mandating districts prohibit cellphone use during school day
If South Dakota is to ever implement statewide cellphone restrictions in public schools, it won’t likely be this year.
The House Education Committee on Monday narrowly killed a proposal that would have mandated school districts to drastically limit student cell phone usage during school hours.
