Sioux Falls voters could get final say over this week's data center rezone vote

A group opposed to plans for a hyperscale data center is circulating petitions to bring the City Council’s decision earlier this week to rezone the property.

Samantha Scarlata and Amanda Kendall formed Let Sioux Falls Vote and began circulating petitions on Friday.

They need about 7,500 signatures from registered Sioux Falls voters by Jan. 29, but their goal is 10,000.
