More than half of the federal subsidies Sioux Falls City Hall anticipated in its 2025 spending plan might not materialize.
Finance Director Shawn Pritchett told the City Council Tuesday that as much as $38.6 million — 57 percent — of the $67.57 million in federal funds budgeted for the year may not come through, as national budget cuts cast doubt over previously projected grant revenues.
