State Rep. Kadyn Wittman received the Young Woman of Achievement Award during EmBe's annual tribute to women ceremony Thursday. The Sioux Falls nonprofit, which aims to "uplift the potential in children, women, and families through opportunities that empower all," recognized Wittman for her work with the Sioux Falls Family YMCA and her efforts in the state Capitol.

“To stand among a slate of truly remarkable women and leaders was humbling — I am so grateful to be part of such a powerful community of change-makers,” Wittman said in a statement posted on social media. “Together, we are driving progress and creating positive change.”
