Sioux Falls inks new two-year deal with The Dakota Scout
City Council extends publishing agreement with startup newspaper

The Sioux Falls City Council designated The Dakota Scout as the city’s official newspaper on Tuesday.
The council unanimously approved a two-year agreement with The Dakota Scout that will expire on June 30, 2027.
Local governments including cities, counties and school districts are required by state law to publish legal notices in a local newspaper. The notices include items such as meeting agendas and minutes.
