Education officials in South Dakota’s largest school district aren’t happy with their state lawmakers.

Sioux Falls School Board members voiced frustration Monday with a flurry of education-related laws that came out of the state Capitol during the 100th legislative session — and some that didn’t.

“I have to question who our legislators are showing up for at this point,” Board Vice President Dawn Marie Johnson said. “(They’re) working against our average, hardworking people and making it more difficult for our hardworking (school board) bodies.”
